REGULATORY REFORM (FIRE SAFETY) ORDER 2005

Since the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order came into full effect back in 2006. We have helped businesses come to understand what it’s role is and what is their responsibility is to comply with it. We still hear news through the info4fire.com that there are many companies that do not realise that they have a responsibility to comply with the RRFSO and others that are not sure where to get information on the RRFSO. A brief overview for the RRFSO will show that it is essential to have a Fire Risk Assessment carried out for your site, Fire Safety Training to be given to your staff, especially to the Fire Marshalls / Wardens. Sites need to be correctly

 maintained and serviced during the year to a scheduled program, emergency escape routes, emergency lighting, signage, the list goes on and all these items fall upon the shoulders of the Responsible Person in your organisation.  We have added to our links page a direct link to the RRFSO and the info4fire site.
